The J. Hampden Robb Mansion Print

The J. Hampden Robb Mansion, a New York City Landmark and National Register of Historic Places, at 23 Park Avenue.

This palatial Italian Renasissance home of brick and brownstone was designed by Stanford White in the 1890's for Mr. Robb, a millionaire, New York City attorney and parks commissioner. Once home of the Advertising Club of New York, it is now a co-op. Its magnificent facade displays a scholarly use of columns, window architraves and cornice in the classic manner.
