FUN WHILE LEARNING

The Goddard School's approach is based on widely accepted research that indicates that children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they are having fun. Highly trained teachers foster the cognitive and social development of each child by lovingly guiding the class through play-based activities.

INDIVIDUALIZED DEVELOPMENT

Their play-based F.L.EX.® Learning Program (Fun Learning Experience) offers child-focused, teacher-led lessons that are tailored to the children’s interests. If a teacher is giving a lesson on the solar system but the children are captivated by the rain outside, the teacher may change the lesson to focus on the weather.

EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Daily enrichment programs foster your child’s self-esteem and set the foundation for a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle. These programs may include baby sign language, yoga, music and languages such as Spanish and Mandarin.

SPECIALLY TRAINED TEACHERS

Diligent hiring practices ensure that the best people work at The Goddard School, and Goddard School teachers receive ongoing professional development and accredited training through Goddard Systems University. Our teachers use proven, play-based methods to nurture healthy development in children and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

Lead teachers hold degrees in early childhood education or related fields, and assistant teachers have education and experience. All the teachers use effective and unique lesson plans to engage children in the learning process.

All teachers must complete an exclusive training series developed specifically for The Goddard School. Goddard Systems University provides ongoing training and coaching about health and safety standards, curriculum and classroom practices, developmental guidelines and enrichment programs so the teachers can provide excellent care to children.

INFANT

Their infant program guides your baby’s early experiences toward a lifelong love of learning.

Goddard School teachers spend lots of time cuddling and talking to your baby to instill trust. They provide a healthy early learning environment for movement, exploration and communication. Their infant care play area is filled with toys and books to help your baby develop at his or her own pace. Teachers sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition, and they pass balls and play games to develop the children’s motor skills.

Teachers work with the parents develop the child's daily schedule, including nap times, play times and feeding times. The First Steps classroom helps the children transition from infancy to toddlerhood as the budding explorers learn new vocabulary and self-help skills. I

All programs are customized to your child's progress, needs and age.

SUMMER CAMP

The Goddard School’s summer camp curriculum teaches STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) through fun and exciting experiences for your child every day!

The founding principle of The Goddard School’s curriculum is that children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they have fun, so our summer camp fosters play-based learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

They’ve created a variety of programs so your children can find one they will absolutely love. Your children will have the chance to dive into fun new activities every day.
