60th Anniversary Street Festival in June Cancelled

Friday, May 1, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with New York City coronavirus guidance, we will be cancelling this year’s Murray Hill Neighborhood Association Street Festival, which was to be held on Saturday June 6 along Park Avenue. MHNA is working closely with our city council representatives Carlina Rivera and Keith Powers in support of their recent bill to open more city streets to pedestrians and cyclists. The bill aims to provide additional open space to allow New Yorkers to get outside while maintaining proper social distancing during the pandemic.

While we will not be able to enjoy meeting our neighbors in person at the Street Festival this year, please continue to visit our website and social media platforms to learn more about our new virtual events we will hold throughout the summer. Please email Ashley Petrylak at info@murrayhillnyc.org or leave her a message at 212-886-5867 if you have ideas for virtual events or activities.
