Patrons of Park Avenue

POPA is the committee that brings the glorious red tulips, the magnificent pink cherry blossoms, the flowering magnolias, the summer begonias, the Christmas trees and the Menorah to the Park Avenue Malls (34th Street to 39th Street). POPA works closely with the New York City Parks Department (the malls are City Parks property) to maintain the landscaping and to restore or replace the fences. The Park Avenue Malls in Murray Hill are the only remaining malls on Park Avenue to retain their historic appearance, and continue to be among the loveliest.
Funding to maintain this comes from private donations from the Park Avenue building owners, coop and condo buildings, private donations from members and non-members alike, and association funds.
The Gardeners Program enables individuals or businesses to sponsor the mall maintenance for one month. We seek 12 sponsors each year, one for every month.
Individuals, buildings and businesses can sponsor the Tree Lighting in the winter months.
